As one of the three major religions in the world, Buddhism's daily activities may be different from the other two religions. A day for Buddhists is actually very tiring, which leads to many people returning to secular life shortly after becoming monks, because they cannot bear such a life.
A day for Buddhists:
Firstly, Buddhists get up at 4:30 in the morning and have morning classes at 5:00 in the morning. Morning classes usually last for an hour, and the content includes reciting scriptures, reciting mantras, and so on.
Next, after finishing the morning class, have breakfast between 6 and 7 o'clock. For breakfast, Buddhists usually drink Congee, eat vegetables or eat Mantou.
After breakfast, clean up the temple, recite scriptures, and arrange personal homework, etc.
It's almost eleven o'clock now, and it's time for lunch. The food is similar to breakfast.
After lunch, Buddhists can rest for an hour. Then participate in labor, such as cleaning, planting vegetables, and so on. In addition, they also receive tourists and explain Buddhist knowledge to them.
At seventeen o'clock, it's time for dinner, which is similar to breakfast and lunch.
After dinner, each person arranged their own time. At nineteen o'clock, they had evening classes and sat together reciting Buddhist scriptures.
After finishing evening classes, they can freely arrange their time.
Finally, at 20:30, turn off the lights and go to bed.
This is how Buddhists spend their days, with some differences in the regulations of different temples, but they are mostly the same.
